In the year 2015, Mepco expanded its operation and stepped into a new world of building construction materials. Our company engaged itself in the manufacturing of AAC blocks, a technology that has turned a new leaf in the construction industry.
Our company has India’s biggest manufacturing plant at SIPCOT, Thiruvallur district, near Chennai, Tamilnadu with a production capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per month. We have the largest production capacity.
It is a lightweight, precast building material that simultaneously provides structure, insulation, and fire and pest resistance. The lightweight nature of the blocks offers ultimate workability, flexibility, and durability. It also has excellent thermal insulation and acoustic absorption properties. It is economically and environmentally superior to the more traditional structural building materials such as concrete, wood, brick, and stone.
